With reference to my Predecessor's despatch No. 41 of the 2nd of
April requesting you to furnish certain vouchers requered by the War
Department in connection with the Accounts of Expenditure incurred for
buildings erected in Vancouvers Island for the North American Boundary
Surveying
Surveying Expedition, I have now to acquaint you that I have received a
further communication from the War Office repecting the non production
of these Vouchers and to reqest that you will forward them to this
Office without delay.
