Sir,
I am directed by the Secretary of State to transmit to you an extract of a letter dated the 24th of July last from Rear Admiral Sir R. Baynes to the Secretary of the Admiralty, and I am to request that you will report to the Secretary of State on the suggestion that a Magistrate should be appointed to reside on Admiral Island.
