In answer to your despatch No. 19 of the 19th of February last, I have the honor to acquaint you that in compliance with your request the Secretary of State for War has given directions for the issue free of cost, of five hundred first class Brunswick Rifles with aManuscript image suitable supply of ammunition for the use of the Volunteer Force in Vancouver Island.
