Sir,
I have the honor to acquaint you that the Lord Commissioners of the Admiralty have apprized me that, as it appears that there are no guns at Victoria or Esquimalt, arrangements have been made for landing two 68 pr. Guns which may be spared from H.M.S. "Bacchante" and "Topaze."
