I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Despatch No: 4
               of the
9th February 1863 acquainting me that the final accounts
relating to the erection of the Lighthouses in
Fucas Straits
 have not
yet been received and that the Lords of the Committee of Privy
Council for Trade were unable in consequence to settle the Accounts
               for these Lighthouses.

               2. I beg to express my regret for this inadvertent omission which
arose through the change in Treasurers and I hasten to supply it. By
the present mail the accounts in question will be forwarded

 to the
Secretary of the Board of Trade and I trust that they may be found
               satisfactory.
