My Lord Duke,
With reference to your Grace's despatch of the 16th April 1862 No 94 I have the honor to inform you that by this opportunity will be forwarded through the Express Office of Wells, Fargo & Co (London Agents—Eives and Macey of KingWilliamsManuscript image Williams Street) a box addressed to Her Majestys Commissioners for Woods and Forests containing about 20 lbs weight of the seed and 30 bushels of the Cones of the Douglas Fir.
2. The expense of collecting the above amounts to about Fifty Pounds (£50), the particulars of which will be brought to account in the periodical statement rendered of the receipts anddisbursmentsManuscript image disbursments of Imperial Money by this Government.
