We might send the Governor the Acts of one or more of the smaller N.A. Provinces for the organization of a Volunteer Force. In the case of Prince Edward Island the War Office were applied to andManuscript image supplied certain information respecting the formation and instruction of the Volunteer Corps formed there in 1859, and no doubt similar information would be useful in the present instance?

I wd ask the W. Office whether among the various Acts wh they have examined there is any wh they wd especially recommend as a model & for any other regulations or other documents likely to be useful to Capt Kennedy.
