Sir,
In reply to your letter of the
31st of March I have to request that
you will inform
Mr Cardwell that the letter of which a copy is
enclosed will be sent to the Company's Officers at
Victoria by the
next Mail.
In the meantime if there is any information on the subject in this
Office which is desired the Governor and
Committee Committee will be quite
ready to furnish it.
It is difficult to see what information is sought for which is not
already accessible to the Government in the Public Registry of the
Colony.
