I have the honour to enclose a copy of a letter we have received from the Secretary of the Hudsons Bay Co requesting that they may be furnished with a copy of the Draft Deed of Reconveyance of Vancouver Island, in order that they may transmit it to the Board of Management of the Company in the Colony.
2. Should Mr Cardwell see no objection to this application I presume that we shall receiveManuscript image his sanction to supply the Company with a copy of the Draft as they request.
