HMS driverDriver, 1840-1861
HMS driverDriver was a first class paddle sloop of the Royal Navy commanded by Commander Charles Richardson Johnson in the Pacific Station.1
According to this document, the Governor of Vancouver Island, Richard Blanshard, was first brought to Victoria from Callao, Chile on board HMS driverDriver in March, 1850.
