I am directed by the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 6th Instant transmitting by the direction of the Duke of Newcastle, for the consideration of the Lords of this Committee, the transcripts of three laws enacted by the Government of British Columbia in the month of June last entitled respectively

No 4. Tonnage Pilotage and Harbour dues
No 5. Tonnage Pilotage and Harbour dues and, in reply, I am to state to you, for the information of His Grace, thatManuscript imagethat My Lords are of opinion that Her Majesty may properly be advised to sanction these several Enactments.
