Lytton sends instructions and forms from the Commissioners of Audit to Douglas and requests he instruct Gosset to adopt the forms as soon as the Financial arrangements of the Colony may admit.

Sir,
With reference to my Despatch No 58 of the 24th December transmitting to you instructions for the guidance of the Treasurer of British Columbia, I enclose the Copy of a Letter from the Commissioners of Audit with the forms therein referred to, and I request that you will instruct Captain Gosset to adopt these forms as soon as the FinancialManuscript image arrangements of the Colony may admit.
