dated Victoria, Vancouver's Island20th December last relative to a
Memorial addressed to me by Proprietors, Householders and Residents of
Vancouvers Island, expressingtheir their gratification at your having been
appointed Governor of British Columbia, I request that you will inform
Mr Snyder that I have received his letter.
