informing him that the cost of stores given to Grant was repaid to the Admiralty
from the vote taken by Parliament for British Columbia.

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Grace's
Despatch of the 30th September No 28 informing me of a claim
of Forty seven Pounds thirteen shillings and ninepence (£47.13.9)
made by the Admiralty on account of Stores supplied to Captain Grant R.E.
and of Your Grace's request to the Lords Commissioners of the
Treasury to repay this sum to the Admiralty from the vote taken
by Parliament for British Columbia.
