Newcastle asks Douglas to inform Moody that payment of his salary to Cox & Co. for the quarter ending 30 September 1859 has been approved.

I have to request that you will inform Colonel Moody that the Paymaster General has been authorized to issue the Salary of that Officer for the quarter ended the 30th of September 1859 to his Agents Messrs Cox & Co.
