I have to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No 15 of the 27th of January enclosing a Proclamation issued by you on the 20th of January, authorizing the Chief Commissioner of Lands and Works to sell Town and Suburban Lots andManuscript imageand Agricultural lands which have been offered for sale at public auction and remain unsold, at the upset price.
I have laid this Proclamation before the Queen, and I am commanded to acquaint you that Her Majesty has been pleased to approve the same.
