With reference to my despatch, No. 89 of the
22nd of October last,
directing you to remit to the Colonial Agents General the sum of £67
which had been paid into the
Colonial Treasury of
British Columbia by

Captain Gosset on account of his passage from
Ceylon to England, I have
               to call upon you to
report
report whether this remittance has yet been made,
and at what date and by what means. If it has not yet been made, you
will abstain from the course of remitting the money, and it will be
simpler and more convenient, on learning from you that the money is
still in the Treasury Chest, to procure the issue of a corresponding
               amount from
the
 the Treasury in this Country.
