Sir,
With reference to the concluding paragraph of my despatch No. 25 of the 11th ult. I have the honour to acquaint you that I have selected P.G. Julyan Esq one of the Agents General for Crown Colonies and Gordon Gairdner Esq the Chief Clerk of this office to be the trustees for the management of the sinking fund of the loan of £50,000 which has been raised under the British Columbia Proclamation No. 5 of 1862.
