I have the honor to request that you will take an early opportunity of furnishing me with the Report, promised in your despatch No. 13 of the 24th of February, of the arrangement which might be made for the support of Mrs. Cox by her husband.
I rely upon you to see that Mr. Cox does not triflewithManuscript image with this matter but that he gives some definite answer, and to insist on his making some provision for his wife and making his remittances punctually or else to dismiss him from the Public Service.
