Sir,
The Postmaster General directs me to return the Ordinance passed by the Legislature of British Columbia, entitled "An Ordinance for regulating the Postal Service," which accompanied your letter of the 27thAugust last, and to acquaint you, for the information of Mr Secretary Cardwell, that, so far as this Department is concerned, there is no objection to this Ordinance receiving the sanction of Her Majesty.
