I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 43 of the 12th of September, and to acquaint you that the Lords Commissoners of the Treasury have expressed their opinion that the method pursued in British Columbia withregardManuscript image regard to the custody of the Public Moneys, and the arrangement of the accounts of the Colony are satisfactory.
