I have received and laid before the Queen the Ordinance No. 8 of 1865, passed by the Legislature of British Columbia, which accompanied your Despatch No. 54 of the 15th May, entitled "An Ordinance to establish the Decimal System of Accounts in the Colony of British Columbia," and I am commanded to inform you thatManuscript image Her Majesty has been graciously pleased to sanction and confirm it.
You will communicate Her Majesty's decision with respect to this Ordinance in the usual manner.
