I have laid before the Queen the Ordinances noted in the margin
No. 18 of 1864 An Ordinance granting a supplemental supply of sixty thousand and seventy six pounds, eight shillings and eight pence, out of the general revenue of the Colony of British Columbia, and its dependencies to the service of the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty four.
No. 9 of 1865 An Ordinance to apply the sum of two hundred and twenty five thousand nine hundred and forty six pounds, twelve shillings and eight pence sterling, out of the general revenue of the Colony of British Columbia and its dependencies to the service of the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty five.
which were forwarded to me in Mr. Seymour's and your despatches No. 7 of the 2nd of February 1865 and No. 125 of the 16th of December and I am commanded to acquaint you that Her Majesty has been pleased to confirm andallowManuscript image allow them.
You will communicate Her Majesty's decision on these Ordinances to the Inhabitants of British Columbia in the usual and most authentic manner.
