My Lord,
I have had the honor to receive Your Lordship's despatch No. 16 of the 16th of February, on the subject of the sale of Spirituous liquors to the Indians in VancouverIslandManuscript image Island.
2. I have much pleasure in informing you that without making the matter a Government question, I have succeeded in extending the Indian liquor law of the Mainland over the whole Colony of British Columbia.
