I am directed by Lord Stanley to transmit to you the accompanying copy of a letter from the Italian Minister at this Court, requesting information respecting an Italian subject named Domenico Terro who is stated to have settled at Victoria in Vancouver's Island; and I am to request that in laying thisletterManuscript image letter before The Duke of Buckingham you will move His Grace to cause enquiries to be made to enable Lord Stanley to reply to Marquis d'Azeglio.
