Sir,
I am directed by the Board of Trade to acknowledge your letter of the 12th instant transmitting for their consideration a Copy of an Ordinance passed by the Government of British Columbia (No 30) entitled "An Ordinance to assimilate the Laws for the Regulation of Pilotage in all parts of British Columbia," and I am to acquaint you for the information of His Grace the Duke of Buckingham that the Board see no reason why this Ordinance should not be submitted for Her Majesty's sanction.
