I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 29 of the 16th of January last.
I concur in your recommendation that the case of Mr. Trutch should be allowed to stand over for a time, but it will be desirable that you should report in the courseofManuscript image of this year what progress Mr. Trutch has been able to make towards finding a purchaser for his interests in the Bridge and Road, as it is not desirable that the present provisional arrangement should continue indefinitely.
