Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 59
of the 10th of April and to convey to you my approval of the payment of
$500 to Mr. E.G. Nesbitt, who has lost his appointment by the Union of
Vancouver Islandand
and British Columbia, to cover the expense of his
passage to England.
