Buckingham requests Seymour to issue instructions to British Columbia staff that directs the staff to transmit duplicate despatches.

Sir,
I beg to point out to you, that with the exception of three duplicates which reached this office on the 31st August, no duplicate despatches have been received in this Department since the 6th May last from the colony of British Columbia.
I request that you will issue such instructions as will ensurethatManuscript image that Duplicate despatches are regularly transmitted for the future.
