My Lord Duke,
On the 9th ultimo I had the honor to receive a telegram in
cipher from Your Grace. Some of the words were unintelligible
but I makeout

2. I lost no time in communicating to Rear Admiral Hastings a
copy of this Telegram. Having no other Shipsof
