With reference to your letter dated the 5th July 1865 and the reply thereto from this Office of the 31st August following, regarding the mode of paying Pensioners residing in British Columbia: I am directed by Secretary Sir John Pakington to transmit to you the Pension Documents of the man noted in the margin and to request that the necessary instructions for the payment of his pension may be issued to the Secretary to the Government.
