compliments…Governor Seymourand that Rogers requests the date when Seymour received despatches from Buckingham in British Columbia to be stated on Seymour’s despatches acknowledging Colonial Office despatches.

Sir Frederic Rogers presents his compliments to Governor
Seymour and is directed by the Duke of Buckingham and Chandos to
request that in acknowledging the receipt of Despatches received from
the Secretary of State the date of the receipt in British Columbia
may be stated.
