Buckingham states that a paper by British Columbia’s surveyor general, regarding

communicated to the Royal Geographical Society.

I have received your Despatch, No. 26, of the 2nd of April and
have read with interest the Minute which you enclose, by the surveyor
general of British Columbia, on the subject of a Coach Road through
