I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 31st May with enclosures from British Columbia. The matter referred to in these papers will receive the attention of the Committee. But in the meantime I may state, from my own personal knowledge that no form of Trust Deed or Church Constitution has been sent by the Church of Scotland to Vancouver Island.
