With reference to your letter of 12th inst. I am directed by the Lords Commissoners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you, for the information of Earl Granville, that My Lords agree with his Lordship that, before expressing any opinion on the question whether the amount irregularly drawn by Mr Seymour late Governor of British Columbia from the Crown Fund ought to be claimed against his Estate,theyManuscript image they should await the report of the particulars of the sums which he drew from this Fund.
