With reference to the letter from this Office of 22 April 1867 54/[Esqrs?]/2549 containing a Claim of £675.2.4 for Stores supplied for service of the Colonial Government British Columbia, and to the subsequent correspondence, and the letter from the Colonial Office of 29 January 1869, I am again directed by Mr Secretary Cardwell to request you will state whether any further steps have been taken towards the settlement of the Claim in question.
