With reference to my Despatch No. 28 of the 27th April I am directed by the Secretary of State to inform you that he has extended for one month, with half salary, the leave of absence granted by Mr. Seymour to Mr. Benjamin W. Pearse Assistant Surveyor General, British Columbia.
