Lefevre, a parliamentary deputy clerk, signs off on an order to the House of Lords that declares an address will be presented to Her Majesty on the correspondences, regarding the colonization of Vancouver Island, between the HBC and the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
The minutes see endorsement signatures to the document address; Grey approves that the papers in question be prepared for the House of Lords.

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament Assembled That an humble Address be Presented to Her Majesty to request that Her Majesty will be graciously pleased to Order that there be laid before this House,
"Copy of the Correspondence between the
1Presented to Ho: of Lords. 9 Feb: 1849
Chairman of the Hudson's Bay Company and the Secretary of State for the Colonies, relative to the Colonization of Vancouver's Island."
Ordered, That the said Address be Presented to Her Majesty by the Lords with White Staves.
