Despatch from London.
Molesworth writes to Douglas to report that the Government will reimburse Douglas's expenses for the charter of the Otter, for protection of the Settlement, upon receipt of a properly certified account of the same.

Sir,
With reference to your despatch, No 1, of the 6th of March last, I have to acquaint you that Her Majesty's Government having again taken into their consideration the circumstances under which youcharteredManuscript image chartered the Ship "Otter" as a Guardship for the protection of the Settlement will be prepared to defray the amount thus expended upon receiving from you a properly certified account of the same.
