I have to acquaint you that the Lords Commissoners of the Treasury have apprized me that Their Lordships have instructed the Paymaster General to accept and pay a bill drawn by you for £2000 as signified in your despatch No. 42 of the 27th of August last, for the erection of barracks consequent uponManuscript imageupon the occupation of San Juan by United States Troops.
