Sir,
Mr Henry Rhodes having been appointed Hawaiian Consul at
Vancouver Island, and Her Majesty's Government having been apprized
(by a letter from your Colonial Secretary to Mr Rhodes) that you see
no objection to this appointment, I have the 
honor to acquaint you that
the Queen's Exequatur empowering Mr Rhodes to act in the above capacity has received Her Majesty's signature.
