Sir,

I am directed by the Lord President of the Council to transmit to you the enclosed Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 12th instant, leaving to their operation seven acts passed in Vancouver Island in February, 1862, and February, 1863, (Nos 78 to 84) and I am to request that you will be pleased to lay the same before the Secretary of State for the Colonial Department.
