With reference to your Despatch No. 22 of the 4th ultimo, I have the honor to request that you will make known to the Inhabitants of Vancouver Island that their Address congratulating the Queen upon the birth of a son to the Prince and Princess of Wales has been laid before Her MajestyManuscript image who was pleased to receive it very graciously.
