I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 91 of the 2nd of November relative to the Stores required for the Lighthouses at Race Rocks and Fisgard Island.
I transmit for yourinformationManuscript image information and guidance a copy of a letter, together with its enclosures, from the Board of Trade, from which you will learn that the heavier portion of these Stores have been forwarded to Vancouver Island via Cape Horn, and the lighter portion via Panama.
