I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 66 of the 31st August, transmitting a further Resolution of the Legislative Assembly relating to Union with British Columbia.
I shall best answer this communication by referring you to my Despatch No. 15 of the 31st of last month, in which I expressed myself fully on this subject.
