In reply to my application of the 1st September, 1 you were pleased to offer to furnish me with letters of introduction to the Governor of the Colony of British Columbia on my submitting to you satisfactoryManuscript image testimonials—should those I forwarded warrant your doing so I should be very thankful, Sir if you would provide me with a letter to the Governor, as it is my intention to proceed to British Columbia with as little delay as possible.
