I brought the subject of Your despatch No. 2 of the 10th January before my Executive Council, and I have the honor to report that they are unanimously of opinion that it is advisabletoManuscript image to carry out the suggestions of the Crown Agents in regard to the temporary investment of any funds in their hands which may not be required immediately for the Service of this Government.
