I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you, for the information of Earl Grey, that Rear Admiral Hornby in a Letter, dated the 12th Jany last, has reported that
1Hudson Bay Compy informed 7 March/50
Her Majesty's Steam Vessel Driver was to sail from Callao, within a week from that time, for Vancouver's Island to convey there Mr Blanshard the newly appointed Governor.
