I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to transmit to you herewith, for the information of His Grace the Duke of Newcastle, a copy of a letter from Captain Prevost of HMS Satellite, Her Majestys Commissioner for settling the Line of Water boundary between the Possessions of Great Britain and the United States in British ColumbiaManuscript imageColumbia, relative to certain points in dispute between that officer and the United States Commissioner, and reporting that the Island of St Juan had been taken possession of by American Troops.
