Quesnel Lake
Quesnel Lake is the source for the Quesnel River, and is located just northeast of the community of Horsefly, in British Columbia's southern interior.
Quesnel Lake is thought to be the deepest known lake in North America, and the deepest fjord lake in the world, at a maximum recorded depth of 530 metres.1 It covers an area of of roughly 263 square kilometres.2
